SpiceJet to fly Jaipur, Hyderabad

Bs Reporter Mumbai/ Ahmedabad
SpiceJet Ltd will launch two daily flights to Jaipur and Hyderabad from here beginning December 18.

Speaking on the occasion of its new flight launch, Ajay Singh, director of SpiceJet, said, "After getting overwhelming response to our flight to Goa from Ahmedabad, we have decided to connect more cities to Ahmedabad." SpiceJet has been getting an average load factor of 79 percent on the Ahmedabad-Goa route. While in overall scenario, SpiceJet has 78 percent passenger load factor amongst all domestic flights.

The company will have daily flights on the Hyderabad-Ahmedabad-Jaipur route and Jaipur-Ahmedabad-Hyderabad route. The flight service on the Ahmedabad-Jaipur route will be in the morning while that on the Ahmedabad-Hyderabad sector will be in the evening.

Instead of opening more routes, the company believes in introducing more flights on the existing routes and connecting them to other cities across India.

"This has not only allowed the company to strictly follow the proven low-cost model of successful international LCC's, it has also given the company space to put in place on-time performance and continued reliability of its operations.

The new sectors start with the lowest Red Hot Special Fares of Rs 299 to Rs 1099, available for booking with effect from November 18, 2006 and are being sold through SpiceJet's website.
