Bangalore based portal for taxi aggregation TaxiForSure is planning to expand its footprint in 40 cities across India from current eight in the next six to eight months. Currently present in Bangalore, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, and Surat,the brand has just introduced their services in 3 new cities - Pune, Mysore and Rajkot. The brand will be covering Nasik, Aurangabad, Mumbai and Nagpur by end of October 2014.
Founded by IIM Ahmedabad graduates Raghunandan G and Aprameya Radhakrishna in June 2011, the company launched its service in Bangalore followed by Delhi and NCR region.
Sharing its plans, Aprameya Radhakrishna, co-founder TaxiForSure said, “Ours is the fastest growing brand in the sector. The services will be extended to 40 more cities by 2015 and we will take the venture to overseas markets like Middle East and and South East Asia. We have focused the un-organised business of this sector. In each city we have 5 to 150 cabs of each operator. The idea for TaxiForSure was born when we realized that technology can play an effective matchmaker in this market to meet customers’ need.”
