TVS Motor net dips 7%

TVS Motor registered a net profit of Rs 31.95 crore for the second quarter of 2005-06, lower by 6.66 per cent as compared with the previous year's net profit of Rs 34.24 crore.

The turnover for the same period was Rs 815.36 crore (Rs 751.52 crore), higher by 8.49 per cent. For the first half of 2005-06 net profit was Rs 56.85 crore (Rs 61.42 crore), lower by 7.44 per cent. Turnover for the same period was Rs 1,561.96 crore (Rs 1,369.59 crore), higher by 14.04 per cent.
