V Mart opens store in Jalandhar

The V Mart chain of stores, with a target of achieving 30 per cent growth in turnover, has opened its eleventh store in Jalandhar.

"Currently the company has achieved the turnover of Rs 100 crore and in the currently fiscal, we have planned to open two more stores at Ludhiana and Amritsar apart from opening one in Panipat in Haryana," Hemant Aggarwal, director of the company said claiming that in the current financial year itself the company would mark its presence in Rajasthan also by opening an outlet in Jaipur.

"Our in-house research has shown that there is tremendous potential to expand our retail network in the northern region and accordingly we have planned a massive growth in the region by opening more and more outlets" he added.

After inaugurating the company's store in Jalandhar at Nakodar road Agawam said, "It was my dream to establish a retail outlet where a middle class family could come and buy a variety of products at affordable prices "� that too in a good and comfortable ambience. I wanted them to be assured of getting quality products at reasonable prices".

"One of the major reasons for our success is our focus on quality. We have strict and uncompromising quality control standards. Since we have our own garment manufacturing units, we are able to ensure that all the garments on our shelves are of excellent quality," he claimed.
