The net profit of Zicom Electronic Security Systems was up by 44.01 per cent to Rs 1.17 crore for the first quarter ended June 2005. Total revenue for the quarter was Rs 13.61 crore, an increase of 32.87 per cent as compared to the same period last year.

Upper Ganges Sugar

Upper Ganges Sugar has reported a turnover of Rs 263.07 crore, up 25.31 per cent during the year ended 30th June, 2005. The gross profit of the company was up 64.29 per cent at Rs. 59.30 crore.

After providing Rs 33.26 crore for the differential cane prices relating to earlier years, the company's net profit declined by 16.7 per cent to Rs 16.81 crore.
