BK Patnaik joins Vedanta Foundation

Former Odisha chief secretary, B K Patnaik has joined the proposed Vedanta University project as president on April 29. In his new role, he will lead the university-cum-smart City initiative as part of Anil Agarwal Foundation.

Patnaik will be based out of Bhubaneswar and will direct other initiatives on behalf of the Foundation to serve the society and the nation at large. A 1976 batch IAS officer, Patnaik, post his retirement, was appointed as chairman of OPSC and then member, OHRC since July 2014.
