FM inaugurates insurance branch at Raghunathganj

Union Finance minister Pranab Mukherjee, on Sunday inaugurated the new branch office and agents training institute of Universal Sompo General Insurance Company.

The Company is a joint venture between Allahabad Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Karnataka Bank, Dabur Investment Corp and Sompo Japan. This is the first public private sector joint venture in General Insurance. The Company started its operations in November 2008.
