Naveen asks LIC to cover unorganised sector

Chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday held discussions with Thomas Mathew T, managing director of state owned Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) to cover more people working in the unorganized sectors for providing social security. Discussions were also held for introduction of new plans to insure girls and insurance schemes for providing pension to persons above 60 years.
