RoC says firm did not violate Companies Act norms.

The registrar of companies (RoC) has not found any violation of the provisions of the Companies Act by seven Reliance group companies that were probed following complaints by Reliance Vice-Chairman and Managing Director Anil Ambani, Company Affairs Minister Prem Chand Gupta said.

"No records were missing," Gupta told Business Standard referring to the report of the RoC on the first set of complaints.

He added that the ministry was examining the second set of complaints and would take action based on reports from regional directorates in Mumbai and Gujarat.

In a letter in February, Anil Ambani had sought inspection of records of System Management Services Pvt Ltd, Oscar Chemicals Pvt Ltd, Bluechip Merchant Bankers Pvt Ltd, Ornate Traders Pv Ltd, Pritika Traders Pvt Ltd, Dirdh Commercials Pvt, and Uditi Mercantile Pvt Ltd.
