Tatas Pay Rs 1,439 Crore For Vsnl Stake, Ioc Gets Ibp For Rs 1,153 Crore

The government Tuesday cleared the sale of 33.58 per cent equity in IBP to Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) and of 25 per cent equity in Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd (VSNL) to Panatone, a Tata group company. The Cabinet Committee on Disinvestment (CCD), which met today, also cleared the sale of a few Indian Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) hotels.
