UK Terror Plot: Karnataka CM to meet PM

Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy  is arriving in New Delhi tomorrow to brief Prime Minister Manmohan Singh about investigations into the Bangalore link in the terror plot in Britain. He will also meet Home Minister Shivraj Patil, his spokesperson said.

Kumaraswamy has come under considerable criticism for not being able to find the time to call a meeting of the state cabinet to devise strategies to prevent terrorism-linked incidents taking place in Karnataka.

A high-level security meeting was to be held two days ago. and was supposed to be chaired by Kumaraswamy. The meeting was called to discuss the latest revelations about the alleged involvement of suspects from Bangalore in the foiled UK terror plot.
