UP alive to industry concerns, says official

"Infrastructure must meet the requirements of industry," said Atul Kumar Gupta, industrial development commissioner, Uttar Pradesh government, at an interactive session organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in Lucknow.

The objective of the interaction was to address and find solutions to the bottlenecks in the policies of the UP government and provide a platform to industry to seek clarifications on the new incentive scheme for industries investing Rs 100 crore or more in the state.

Gupta in his address informed the industries present on the occasion that the state government was optimistic about forming a conducive environment in the state for industrial sector to prosper.
