VP stresses on more central funds in higher education

Vice-President M Hamid Ansari today stressed on the need for availability of more central funds in the higher education system of the country. “Just like the Central government has assumed the responsibility for elementary education through Sarva Siksha Abhiyan, it should vastly enhance support to state universities,” Ansari said.
