Petrol traders' body offers 50 paisa per litre discount for voters on election day
The discount would be available only to persons carrying the voting mark of ink dot on their fingers
Petrol traders body Federation of All India Petroleum Traders (FAIPT) has announced a 50 paisa discount for voters on the day of election.
The discount will be available at select 53 petrol stations across Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon and Rohtak during voting hours - between 8 am and 5 pm - to the respective election days.
The discount would be available only to persons carrying the voting mark of ink dot on their fingers. The move is aimed at maximizing voter turnout as a "social cause".
