BoR ups interest rates on NRE, FCNR deposits

Bank of Rajasthan (BoR) today said it has revised upward interest rates on its NRE fixed deposits.
For one-year to less than two-years, interest has been upped to 2.67 per cent from 2.59 per cent while for two-years to less than three-years, it has been increased to 2.99 per cent from 2.83 per cent, a release issued here said.
For three-years and above, the new rate of interest is 3.59 per cent as against the earlier 3.44 per cent.
The changes are with immediate effect, the release said.
For its foreign currency non-resident (FCNR) dollar-denominated deposits, the rates have again been increased.

For one-year and above to less than two-years, it has been increased to 1.92 per cent from 1.84 per cent while for two-years but less than three-years, the interest rate has been upped to 2.24 per cent from 2.08 per cent, the release said.
For three-years and above but less than four-years, the rate has been revised to 2.84 per cent from 2.69 per cent while for four-years and above but less than five-years, the rate has been upped to 3.34 per cent from 3.20 per cent.
For a tenure of five-years, the rate has been increased to 3.75 per cent from 3.62 per cent, the release said.
