CorpBank rolls out new product

Corporation Bank has launched CorpCompassion, a feature-rich savings bank account.

The product was launched by H N Sinor, chief executive, Indian Banks Association, at the Corporation Bank head office at Pandeshwar.

A Mohan Rao, general manager, said the bank in an effort to further its corporate social responsibility would donate Rs 10 to the underprivileged for every account opened under the 'CorpCompassion'.

The product, apart from meeting the social service objective, will have features like any branch banking, multi-city cheque facility, personalised cheque facility, Internet banking, SMS banking, and term insurance at low premium.

B Sambamurthy, CMD, Corporation Bank, said that the bank in its earlier similar initiative had donated approximately Rs 15 lakh to charitable institutions such as HelpAge and CRY during the last three years.
