PNB FY06 net at Rs 1,439 cr

Punjab National Bank (PNB) has posted a net profit of Rs 1439.31 crore for FY06, up 2% from Rs 1410.12 crore in FY05.

According to an official release issued to the BSE today, total income has increased from Rs 10,135.53 crore in FY05 to Rs 10,815.31 crore for FY06.

Net profit for Q4FY06 is Rs 288.67 crore, down 20% from Rs 360.63 crore in Q4FY05. Total income has increased to Rs 2890.41 crore for Q4FY06 from Rs 2562.00 crore in Q4FY05, the release said.
