PNB opens 117 branches in a day

Punjab National Bank announced the opening of its 117 branches throughout the country to celebrate its 117th foundation day anniversary and opened one of them at Talegaon near Pune with an ATM facility.

"The Talegaon branch will be the 50th branch of Punjab National Bank in the Pune Region. We aim to reach a business of Rs 10 crore and to cater to 15 lakh customers by 2013.

The trust that customers have reposed in the bank is our biggest asset. Showing our commitment towards the green cause we also distributed saplings during our events," S K Behl, Pune regional manager said.
