RBI releases format for filing of quarterly statements

The Reserve Bank of India has released a reporting format for filing of quarterly statements by Securitisation Companies/Reconstruction Companies registered with the RBI under Section 3(4) of the SARFAESI Act.

The details to be reported include acquisition/ realisation of financial assets from banks/FIs in terms of Section 9 of the SARFAESI Act, 2002, information about Security Receipts (SRs), year-wise breakup of assets and receipts acquired still pending for resolution and redemption respectively and status of top ten accounts acquired as at the end of the quarter.
