SBI MF launches infra fund - Video

| CLICK HERE FOR VIDEO SBI Mutual Fund is launching a three-year, close-ended growth fund, SBI Infrastructure Fund - Series I, to primarily invest in companies directly or indirectly involved in infrastructure growth in the Indian economy. The fund opens for subscription on May 11 and close on June 8. Syed Shahabuddin, CEO, SBI Mutual Fund said: "Even though there are similar funds in the industry, we believe that our track record in managing equity assets which have won awards with our deep understanding of the sector will give us the edge." Sanjay Sinha, head (equity), SBI Mutual Fund added, "This fund proposes to harness the investment opportunity in the infrastructure sector from the proposed spending of over Rs 14 lakh crore in the 11th Five Year Plan." |
