Srei To Hawk Bajaj Allianz Risk Products

Srei International has signed a pact with Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Ltd to promote and market non-life insurance products of the former through a wholly owned subsidiary, Srei Insurance Agency and Broking Ltd (SIABL).

SIABL will function as corporate life and non-life insurance agent and also as broker when the insurance regulator permits. Managing director of Srei International, Hemant Kanoria, said "The Srei group is well networked with latest technology and has a presence in the financial market through a huge network comprising large number of branches spread all over the country. The company already has a substantial penetration in the market with a host of financial products and services, and caters to the financial needs of investors, both corporates as well as individuals."

 

"The company believes in very high standards of service that is has set for itself in its core field and which is being extended now for promotion of its insurance products, as one of its major consumer service programmes," Kanoria said.

Earlier this year the company had signed a memorandum of understanding with HDFC Standard Life for promotion and marketing of life insurance products. The present pact with Bajaj-Allianz will expand the spectrum of the insurance products being offered by Srei.
