IIM-L offers green course

Realising the importance of teaching environmental management strategies to future business managers, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM)-Lucknow has announced a management development programme on 'Corporate Environmental Management and Carbon Markets' "� a first of its kind by a management institute.
 
A three-day training programme beginning July 9 this year at the IIM campus itself, it's designed for middle- and senior-level managers and professionals in corporate and non-corporate sectors, consultants and academicians who are, in any way, connected with effective environmental management.
 
"We need managers who are equipped with environmental management strategies and know how these can be used to gain long-term competitive edge," says Sushil Kumar, Director of the programme.
 
The programme fee is Rs 20,250 per Indian participant while it's $510 for international participants.
 
The fee includes cost of the course, tuition, board ing and lodging and use of institute's library and other facilities.
