ADRs end mixed; Nikkei surges 348pts

The Nikkei has rallied 348 points to 15,975. The Hang Seng is up 32 points at 15,526.

The Dow Jones moved up 25 points to 11,006. The Nasdaq was down a point at 2267. The US crude oil futures for April delivery plunged $1.56 to settle at $60.02 a barrel on the NYMEX.

The Indian ADRs ended on a mixed note. MTNL perked up 2.4% to $6.95, and HDFC Bank advanced 1.5% to $53.60. VSNL slumped 4.5% to $16.06, and ICICI Bank dropped 3% to $29.
