Barley dips on selling pressure
Fall in demand from beer making industries dampened the trading sentiments

Barley prices fell by Rs 16 to Rs 1,389 per quintal in futures trading today as traders preferred to unload holdings in line with weak physical markets sentiment.
Marketmen said fall in demand from beer making industries and increased supply in physical markets dampened the trading sentiments.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, the January contract declined by Rs 16, or 1.14% to Rs 1,389 per quintal, having an open interest of 8,490 lots.
The April contract also moved down by Rs 12, or 0.82% to Rs 1,454 per quintal, clocking an open interest of 1,720 lots.
