Chana rises on pick up in demand

Chana prices rose by Rs 20 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market today, largely on the back of pick up in demand from retailers.
Elsewhere, other commodities continued to trade around previous level in restricted activity. Traders said increased offtake by stockists, as well as retailers, helped chana prices to rise.
Gram and its gram dal local were up by Rs 20 each to Rs 2,420-2,445,Rs 2,695-2,720 per quintal.
