Copra Rajapur rises on good demand

Copra Rajapur prices rose at the spices market here today due to increased demand from retailers amid lower arrivals from producing regions.
Meanwhile, black pepper and ginger bleached declined on reduced buying from stockists coupled with fresh supplies.
Copra Rajapur Mumbai strengthened by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 6,600 from overnight closing level of Rs 6,500.
However, ginger bleached slipped by Rs five per kilo to Rs 235, as against Rs 240 yesterday and black pepper moved down by Rs four per kilo to Rs 211/225 from Rs 215/225 earlier.
Other spices held steady.
