Indian Adrs Stand Losers

Majority of the Indian securities listed on the US exchanges settled with loses on Tuesday.

Infy, the American depositary receipt (ADR) issue of Infosys Technologies, settled down 90 cents at $68.10, while Wit, the Wipro ADR, ended up 58 cents at $28.99. Say, the Satyam Computer ADR, gained one cent at $+10.

Redf, the Rediff.com ADR, remained unchanged at $0.38, while Sify, the Satyam Infoway ADR, dropped 2 cents at $1.08.

Banking stocks listed abroad witnessed a mixed trend. IBN, the ICICI Bank ADR, settled down 24 cents at $5.88 and the HDFC Bank ADR HDB remained unchanged at $13.29.

 

Among telecom stocks, MTE (MTNL ADR), jumped 12 cents at $3.75, and VSL, (VSNL ADR), down 4 cents at $3.95. RDY, the Dr Reddy
