The Instanex Skindia DR index (ISDI), which tracks 15 actively-traded Indian depository receipts, advanced by over one per cent to 487.80 today.

The Larsen & Toubro GDR rose 5.06 per cent to $9.14, Bajaj Auto jumped 1.80 per cent to $10.20 and ITC edged up 1.64 per cent to $15.45. However, the Ranbaxy GDR traded flat at $15.

Reliance Industries GDRs were heavily traded during mid-session, and registered volumes of over 2,00,000 GDRs.

Meanwhile, Wall Street opened strong on the back of solid earnings by retailer Home Depot Inc, which helped lure investors back into the market.

On Monday, the ISDI shed 1.10 per cent to 486.87. The ISDI P/E ratio also shed 1.42 per cent to 10.19.

 

Meanwhile, Indian securities listed on US exchanges settled weak. Infy, the Infosys Tech ADR shed $1.61 to $41.15.
