Lead weakens 0.48% on subdued demand

Participants trimming their positions affected the trade

Lead futures for February weakened by 60 paise, or 0.48%, to Rs 125.05 per kg in 1,039 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the January contract traded lower by 50 paise, or 0.40%, to Rs 124.60 per kg in 5,671 lots.

Participants trimming their positions, subdued demand from battery-maker affected the trade.
