Mentha oil up 0.86% on strong demand

Less arrivals from Chandausi supported the uptrend

Mentha oil futures for January moved up by Rs 11.40, or 0.86% to Rs 1,343.70 per kg in 822 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the February contract gained Rs 11, or 0.82% to Rs 1,357.10 per kg in 201 lots.

Speculators enlarging their positions, strong domestic and exports demand supported the mentha oil futures.

Besides, less arrivals from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh also supported the uptrend.
