Mentha oil up on local demand
Lower output in the season upped the price

Mentha oil prices rose by 0.41% to Rs 1,418.20 per kg in futures trade today on increased domestic as well as exports demand amid reports of lower output this season.
The sentiment improved further as traders created fresh positions due to higher demand from industries and less arrivals from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the January contrct rose by Rs 5.80, or 0.41%, to Rs 1,418.20 per kg, clocking a volume of 491 lots.
The December contract traded higher by Rs 5.20, or 0.37%, to Rs 1,401.80 per kg, with a trading volume of 207 lots.
