Orchid Chemicals and Pharmaceutical spurted 10.19 per cent to Rs 70.85 on the news that the company has bought back bonds worth $25.7 million.

The company intends to purchase additional bonds from the market and extinguish them from time to time. The stock made an intra-day high of Rs 72.4 and a low of Rs 64.3.
