The Instanex Skindia DR Index (ISDI) was up 1.09 per cent to 1242.79 in the early morning trades. Among ISDI GDR stocks, 2 advanced, 3 remained unchanged and 2 lost ground.

The gainers were Reliance, up 1.39 per cent to $26.25 with volume of 193 GDRs and L&T, up 0.19 per cent to $25.75 with volume of 8,819 GDRs. The losers were ITC, down 1.52 per cent to $35.60 and Ranbaxy, down 0.77 per cent to $25.80 with volume of 860 GDRs.

Among ISDI ADRs, 7 advanced and 1 lost ground. The major gainers were HDFC Bank, up 4.44 per cent to $44.03 with volumes of 226,700 ADRs, VSNL, up 3.27 per cent to $10.10 with volumes of 148,900 ADRs and ICICI Bank, up 2.71 per cent to $21.60 with volumes of 1,300,400 ADRs.

The only loser was Dr Reddy's, down 0.24 per cent to $16.49 with volumes of 139,000 ADRs.

Instanex Skindia DR Index was up 1.01 per cent to 1,242.77 on Tuesday and was trading at a P/E of 19.79.
