Sensex down 132pts; breadth extremely -ve

The Sensex is now down 132 points at 13,889.

ITC has shed 3% to Rs 169. ICICI Bank, Gujarat Ambuja, SBI and Ranbaxy have slipped over 2% each to Rs 927, Rs 124, Rs 1,056 and Rs 360, respectively.

Tata Motors and Hindalco have dropped nearly 2% each to Rs 824 and Rs 146, respectively.

Grasim, Cipla, Reliance Energy, Dr.Reddy's, Maruti, Bharti Airtel and ACC are the other major losers.

Reliance is up nearly 1% at Rs 1,426.

The market breadth is negative - out of 2,082 stocks traded so far, 1,568 have declined, 466 have advanced and 48 are unchanged.
