Sensex hits new high, Maruti gains 3%

The Sensex hit a new all-time intra-day high of 14,735 in early deals, and is now up 63 points at 14,714.

Maruti has zoomed over 3% (Rs 27) to Rs 770.

L&T has gained over 3% to Rs 2,262. BHEL is up nearly 2% at Rs 1,568.

Cipla is holding 2% gains at Rs 212.

Infosys, ONGC, SBI and HLL are also trading with gains.

Advances are ahead of declines - out of 1,880 scrips traded till now, 1,247 have logged gains.
