Soyabean futures climbs on global cues

In brisk trading, soyabean prices shot up by Rs 48.50 to Rs 2,291 per quintal in futures trading today following brisk buying by traders in line with firming overseas markets cue.
Marketmen said tracking a firm global markets sentiment, traders preferred to enlarge their postions in soyabean.
Fall in supply and strong demand of soymeal from export houses, too influenced trading sentiments, they added.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange counter, soyabean prices for December-month contract jumped by Rs 48.50, or 2.16 per cent, to Rs 2,291 per quintal, with an open interest of 2,00,580 lots.
November contract delivery at Indore too shot up by Rs 43.50, or 1.98 per cent to Rs 2,239.50 per quintal, with an open interest of 1,11,590 lots.
