Sugar remains steady in restricted buying

There was not much activity in the wholesale sugar market today as prices moved in a narrow range in restricted buying against adequate stocks position and settled around previous levels. 

Market analysts said restricted buying activity against adequate stocks position, mainly kept sugar prices steady. 

Following were today's quotation per quintal.

Sugar ready M-30 2,950-3,075 and S-30 2,925-3,040
Mill delivery M-30 2,800-2,950 and S-30 2,790-2,930
