Sugar slips on slugish demand

Sugar prices declined modestly at the Vashi wholesale market here today on subdued buying from retailers amidst adequate stock positions. 

Medium sugar (M-30) dipped by Rs 10 per quintal to Rs 2,771/2,881 from last weekend's closing level of Rs 2,781/2,891. 

Small sugar (S-30) also edged down by a similar margin to Rs 2,731/2,810 per quintal as against Rs 2,741/2,810 previously.

Medium sugar (M-30) quality Rs 2,771/2,881 (Rs 2,781/ 2,891) and Small sugar (S-30) quality Rs 2,731/2,810 (Rs 2,741/2,810)
