Jharkhand Police have arrested four hardcore Maoists in Gumla District and recovered arms, ammunition and several mobile phones.
Two Maoist area commanders were among those arrested.
"We recovered almost nine arms after we searched the area after seizing. The recovered consists of carbine, carbine regular, country made, rifles and 22 rounds of bullets. Some mobiles phones have also been recovered. The four arrested Maoists have been identified as Bibeshwar Uraun, Sikander Uraun, Sunny Uraun and Gandur Uraun."," said Prabhat Kumar, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Ranchi.
The police launched combing in the area and were successful in nabbing the Maoists on Thursday.
