Paul Walker's mother files for guardianship of star's daughter

Paul Walker's mother has filed official papers requesting guardianship of her granddaughter, it has been revealed.

Cheryl Walker claims 15-year-old Meadow's mother, Rebecca Soteros, is battling alcoholism and cannot properly care for her teenage daughter, TMZ.com reported.

In his will, the 'Fast and Furious' star, who died in a car crash in November last year, stated that he wanted his mother to become Meadow's guardian in the event of his premature death.
