Britannia Industries standalone net profit rises 24.38% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 14.03% to Rs 2357.04 crore

Net profit of Britannia Industries rose 24.38% to Rs 244.69 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 196.73 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 14.03% to Rs 2357.04 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 2067.01 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 12.35% to Rs 947.89 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 843.69 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 10.76% to Rs 9205.93 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 8311.53 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
