Capital Goods shares gain

Capital Goods stocks were trading in the positive zone, with the S&P BSE Capital Goods index rising 107.43 points or 0.92% at 11725.34 at 09:53 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Capital Goods index, Schaeffler India Ltd (up 2.72%), Siemens Ltd (up 1.83%),Larsen & Toubro Ltd (up 1.78%),Bharat Forge Ltd (up 0.64%),Bharat Electronics Ltd (up 0.53%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were SKF India Ltd (up 0.39%), and Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (up 0.26%).

On the other hand, Graphite India Ltd (down 4.99%), HEG Ltd (down 4.73%), and NBCC (India) Ltd (down 3.1%) moved lower.

At 09:53 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 418.38 or 1.31% at 31444.7.

 

The Nifty 50 index was down 100.1 points or 1.07% at 9213.8.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 47.62 points or 0.44% at 10737.42.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 12.7 points or 0.34% at 3763.42.

On BSE,532 shares were trading in green, 906 were trading in red and 73 were unchanged.
