Consumer Durables shares gain

Consumer Durables stocks were trading in the positive zone, with the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index rising 213.59 points or 0.86% at 24941.61 at 09:47 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index, Blue Star Ltd (up 1.56%), Titan Company Ltd (up 1.09%),Whirlpool of India Ltd (up 0.8%),V I P Industries Ltd (up 0.76%),Voltas Ltd (up 0.72%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Crompton Greaves Consumer Electrical Ltd (up 0.72%), and Rajesh Exports Ltd (up 0.41%).

On the other hand, Bajaj Electricals Ltd (down 0.58%), and TTK Prestige Ltd (down 0.11%) moved lower.

At 09:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 53.61 or 0.13% at 40748.56.

 

The Nifty 50 index was down 23 points or 0.19% at 12025.2.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 7.36 points or 0.05% at 13500.86.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 8.49 points or 0.18% at 4729.96.

On BSE,673 shares were trading in green, 701 were trading in red and 83 were unchanged.
