Hong Kong Hang Seng shrinks 410 points

Hong Kong share market closed session lower on Thursday, 03 May 2018, as investors turned cautious ahead of US-China trade talks slated to start later in the day and following on from a rough session overnight on Wall Street in the wake of the Fed's Wednesday meeting. Most of Hang Seng sub-indexes declined, with energy firms leading losses amid drop in oil prices followed by insurance stocks. The Hang Seng Index lost 1.34%, or 410.51 points, to 30,313.37, while the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index lost 1.43%, or 174.73 points, to 12,018.86.
