NTPC declares commercial operation of Unit 2 of Meja Thermal Power Station
From 31 January 2021
NTPC announced that Unit-2 of 660 MW capacity of Meja Thermal Power Station of Meja Urja Nigam (MUNPL) (a joint venture of NTPC & UPRVUN) is declared on commercial operation w.e.f. 00:00 hrs. of 31 January 2021.With this, the total commercial capacity of MUNPL and NTPC group will become 1320 MW and 63925 MW respectively.
