Real Estate shares tumble

Real Estate stocks were trading with losses, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index falling 46.93 points or 2.09% at 2198.63 at 13:52 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (down 4.46%), Phoenix Mills Ltd (down 3.24%),Godrej Properties Ltd (down 2.92%),Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (down 2.13%),Sobha Ltd (down 2.09%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (down 2.07%), DLF Ltd (down 1.74%), Omaxe Ltd (down 0.78%), and Sunteck Realty Ltd (down 0.73%).

On the other hand, Oberoi Realty Ltd (up 0.25%), moved up.

At 13:52 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 246.7 or 0.62% at 39642.26.

 

The Nifty 50 index was down 78.15 points or 0.67% at 11600.35.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 136.57 points or 0.95% at 14192.5.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 38.13 points or 0.78% at 4880.75.

On BSE,664 shares were trading in green, 1600 were trading in red and 145 were unchanged.
