Real Estate stocks slide
Real Estate stocks were trading with losses, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index decreasing 30.84 points or 1.34% at 2264.18 at 13:52 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Godrej Properties Ltd (down 3.78%), Sunteck Realty Ltd (down 3.11%),Sobha Ltd (down 2.24%),Phoenix Mills Ltd (down 1.44%),Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (down 1.34%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (down 1.28%), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (down 1.07%), Oberoi Realty Ltd (down 0.98%), and Omaxe Ltd (down 0.47%).
On the other hand, DLF Ltd (up 0.25%), turned up.
At 13:52 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 135.69 or 0.34% at 40145.51.
The Nifty 50 index was down 42.45 points or 0.36% at 11755.45.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 9.99 points or 0.07% at 14458.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 20.28 points or 0.41% at 4960.98.
On BSE,938 shares were trading in green, 1340 were trading in red and 151 were unchanged.
