Tata Steel standalone net profit declines 27.14% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 5.02% to Rs 15946.20 crore

Net profit of Tata Steel declined 27.14% to Rs 1030.93 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 1414.96 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 5.02% to Rs 15946.20 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 15184.45 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 21.05% to Rs 4169.55 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 3444.55 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 22.44% to Rs 58094.65 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 47447.75 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
