An 11-year-old boy was killed and his sister critically injured when a part of a building's balcony collapsed on them here Friday, an official said.
Suraj and his 14-year-old sister Kajal were playing under the first floor balcony of a house in Saraswati Vihar in north Delhi around 11 a.m., when the structure collapsed on them.
The siblings were taken to Baba Bhim Rao Ambedkar hospital where Suraj was declared dead, while Kajal is still undergoing treatment, said an officer of the Delhi Fire Service.
A case of causing death by negligence has been registered.
