Tata Motors Group on Monday said its global wholesales were higher by 16 per cent in August.
"The Tata Motors Group global wholesales in August 2016, including Jaguar Land Rover, were at 86,288 nos, higher by 16 per cent, over August 2015," the company said in a statement.
"Global wholesales of all Tata Motors' commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in August 2016 was flat at 30,184 compared to August 2015."
The company further said that the global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in the month under review were higher by 25 per cent at 56,104, compared to the same month of 2015.
